What if you could get a face lift, without ever undergoing the knife in a traditional facelift? Well, with a thread lift face lift, this is a reality. Thread lifts are the newest, non-invasive ‘lifting’ procedure, and it can actually be performed anywhere on the body (even your knees, or buttocks!). It is particularly designed to lift key areas of the face – including the brow, cheeks, the neck, the jowl and jawline – with a simple injection of a synthetic surgical suture that ‘anchors’ itself in the tissue and deeper layers of the skin, and is gently pulled upward and back – leaving you with a tighter, more firm look.
With the threads, they are pre-loaded into hypodermic needles and are long-lasting. Eventually, over time – the threads will break down and absorb into your body. The idea came from cardio thoracic surgeons, who use these threads to perform open-heart surgery and other life-saving procedures. Your skin will fully absorb the material, and it leaves no scar tissue.
We offer several different types of threads – some are stronger for heavier tissue and others are lighter, for raising smaller and lighter areas, such as an upper lip lift.
How long does a thread lift face lift take?
A thread lift face lift takes around 45 minutes and is performed in-office. It could take a bit longer, depending on the number of areas to lift.
What areas can be treated with a thread lift procedure?
You can treat your brow, cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds, lips, neck and even other parts of the body such as the knees or buttocks.
Does a thread lift face lift hurt?
The thread lift face lift is very comfortable. We use a numbing creme to numb the area as well as continual ice application during the procedure with an assistant. The threads are injected, and then Dr. Adelglass will gently ‘lift’ them into place. The results are immediate and long-lasting.
