Spider Vein Removal

The body houses a collection of complicated circulatory systems, with an extensive network of veins and tiny blood vessels called capillaries. Over time, aging, trauma, sun exposure, and certain lifestyle factors cause a number of them to break, appearing as red streaks or blotches on the face. Laser technology offers a very effective means of treating spider veins. The laser beam can deliver energy to a large area with each pulse, so laser vein removal takes just a few minutes to treat each discolored vein. Yag laser therapy can eliminate damaged veins and capillaries by removing virtually all traces of these unsightly blemishes.

The legs are one of the most requested areas for vein correction procedures. Treatments are quick and relatively pain-free. Using a Yag laser, hemoglobin in the damaged veins and capillaries is targeted, and the vein is thermally "heated" with short pulse light. One to two sessions are usually required to resolve all traces of these unsightly veins.
