Restylane Dermal Filler and Perlane Dermal Filler

NEW! Now offering Restylane SilkRead more!

Restylane Dermal Filler and Perlane results are dramatic and long-lasting. Both hyaluronic acid gel formulations work to correct wrinkles, lift facial contours, and enhance lips. One of the most significant factors of these breakthrough fillers is that they contain hyaluronic acid, found naturally in the tissues of your body. The crystal-clear gel is injected into the skin where it binds with the body’s water molecules, to plump up wrinkles and fill them in. It works so safely and effectively; allergies to hyaluronic acid are extremely rare.

Performed at either our Uptown Dallas or Plano offices, the wrinkle-filling and lip-plumping procedures take only about 30 minutes, and the results are immediate with minimal discomfort. Restylane or Perlane (a thicker, slightly longer-lasting formulation of Restylane ) can be combined with Botox wrinkle treatment to revitalize your appearance by sculpting the face, for a ‘Botox-Filler’ Facelift, or Dysport (similar to Botox), for a ‘Dysport-Filler Facelift’.

Jeffrey Adelglass, MD, FACS, is SKINTASTIC’s founder. He is one of the few doctors currently serving on both the Medicis Advisory Council and Allergan’s National Education Committee (the makers of Botox). These committees are composed of distinguished doctors who are skilled and the artistry of administering Restylane and Botox injections. Medicis, the company that distributes Restylane and Perlane in the U.S., recently announced FDA approval for use of Restylane in the lips (the earlier approval was for facial folds and wrinkles). Dr. Adelglass has been administering a variety of Restylane filler corrections in Dallas since Medicis first introduced Restylane in the U.S. in 2003. Restylane lip filler injections are one of the more frequently-requested treatments at Skintastic’s Dallas and Plano offices. Clinical trials have shown that if you receive a second, follow-up Restylane injection at 4.5 months or 9 months after your initial Restylane treatment, you can extend your results for up to 18 months–one treatment generally lasts 6 months, so that’s 6 bonus months of beauty for free!

Introducing – Restylane® Silk

Designed specifically for lips and the lines around them

Restylane Silk has recently been approved for release in the United States and we have it at Skintastic. It’s the first and only FDA-approved product specifically designed for subtle lip enhancement and the smoothing of wrinkles and lines around the mouth in patients over 21 years of age. Like other areas of the face, the lips and skin surrounding the mouth show signs of aging as an individual gets older. This often results in lip thinning, lost shape and an increase in vertical lines above the lip. Working must like other dermal fillers and Restylane dermal filler – is a gel formulation of hyaluronic acid. Restylane Silk is actually made of smaller, smoother particles for an even more natural look.

Restylane® Silk’s unique particle gel formula, along with an ultrafine needle designed for improved accuracy, helps give you softer, more precise results — just what you need for a natural-looking smile.

As with any other hyaluronic acid gel that is injected into the lips, the most common side effect is temporary swelling.

Dr a new pics“Restylane and Perlane, when combined in the same treatment session as a wrinkle-relaxer like Botox Cosmetic or Dysport, help to revitalize your skin’s appearance by sculpting the face,” says Dr. Adelglass. “To achieve maximum results, an at-home skin care regimen is also recommended to protect your skin from the natural effects of aging.”
